There’s an active recall on boxed macaroni and cheese products sold at Sprouts Farmers Market, Target, Walmart, Whole Foods Market and more grocery stores nationwide. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) shares that this is due to undeclared allergens in the affected products.
The macaroni and cheese impacted by this recall are two Goodles products: the plant-based white Cheddar variety with spirals and the truffle-flavored variety with shells. The following lot codes, UPC and best-by dates are affected, and these products were sold from April 29 through August 8, 2025:

Check your pantry, and if you have one of the matching Goodles products on hand, dispose of it or return to your place of purchase for a refund. These products are being recalled as the plant-based white cheddar mac and cheese may contain undeclared milk, and the truffle flavored cheddar mac and cheese may contain cashews.
There have been eight total reports of consumer allergic reactions due to the mislabeling of these products. Those with a dairy or nut allergy could be at risk of an allergic reaction such as anaphylaxis after eating the recalled mac and cheese. Symptoms may include hives, difficulty breathing or speaking, dizziness, nausea, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea and cardiac arrest.
