At this year’s SupplySide Global trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada, US, Bioenergy Life Science (BLS) is set to showcase a suite of next-generation ingredient technologies designed to support performance, recovery, and healthy aging at booth #6073. Leading the lineup will be RQX, a co-crystal that unites quercetin and nicotinamide (vitamin B3), with D-ribose for increased stability, solubility, and bioavailability.

According to BLS, the science-backed RQX complex targets inflammation and glycation while helping preserve NAD+ levels — a crucial factor in cellular energy and longevity. Designed for dietary supplements, RQX synchronizes the release of its three actives for advanced efficacy and measurable results.

“Our scientists and R&D teams work ahead of the curve to develop ingredients that are innovative, clinically studied, and do it better. Our branded ingredients and product solutions are ready to help you go beyond the ordinary,” says BLS’ VP of sales, Marianne McDonagh.

“This is a perfect example of how our new clinical science, combined with our advanced co-crystal technology, is taking the industry in exciting new directions. It is a category game-changer.”

    Other offerings

At the same time, BLS will also feature its solution for the ever-competitive creatine space, PeakPwr. The company describes the offering as a synergistic combination of D-ribose and creatine monohydrate that supports cellular metabolism, muscle performance, and post-exercise recovery.

The ingredient will be showcased in functional rice cereal treats — a pre-workout snack — engineered for both fuel and function.

Attendees can also sample RiboVite electrolyte chews, featuring a patent-pending combination of D-ribose and B vitamins developed to boost cellular activation, and RiaGev-WS, a clinically proven, water-soluble NAD+ booster offered in a citrus stick pack.

“PeakPwr is an easy and logical way to differentiate your product,” McDonagh explains. “Creatine and D-ribose are quite simply better together. Creatine monohydrate helps initiate ATP production, while D-ribose provides the critical building blocks to keep it going, even during stress.”

“It is suitable for tablets, capsules, RTDs, powdered stacks, gummies, bars, liquids, and much more.”

    Expert spotlight

Meanwhile, Michael Crabtree, BLS’ director of scientific affairs and product development, will join a panel on the first day of the trade show (October 28).

The panel, “More than the Formula: What R&D Needs to Succeed,” will host experts who will share practical insights on how today’s formulators can elevate their expertise and bring science-driven ideas to life.

“Modern analytical techniques and better theoretical understanding have enabled researchers to accelerate the development of ingredients that are more synergistic and lead to broader benefits,” Crabtree concludes.
