SupplySide Global 2025, taking place from Oct. 28 to 30 in Las Vegas, will once again bring together professionals from across the supplement industry.

While much of the activity centers around the booths on the show floor, the receptions, panel discussions and social gatherings offer opportunities for connection and conversation off the show floor. With so much going on, here are some highlights.

    Networking & community building

For those seeking to build new relationships or strengthen existing ones, SupplySide Global provides multiple opportunities for intentional and energizing connections.

On Tuesday, Oct. 28, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., the WIN Awards + Gender Equity Networking Reception will take place in South Pacific Ballroom G, Lower Level. Hosted by Women In Nutraceuticals (WIN), the event honors leaders advancing gender equity in research, mentorship, and business leadership, followed by a celebratory reception open to all registered attendees.

On the same date between 7:00 and 10:00 p.m., the American Herbal Products Association Foundation for Education and Research (AHPA ERB Foundation) will host the AHPA ERB Lovers Dinner at Double Zero Pie & Pub. Join colleagues and friends for an evening of networking and connecting in support of the non-profit foundation and its mission to expand awareness of medicinal, therapeutic and health-promoting herbs.

On Wednesday, Oct. 29 from 9:15 to 10:00 a.m., the Newcomers Mix and Mingle at the Networking Pub, Booth #212, Shoreline, Level 2, is designed for first-time attendees or those new to the industry.

Later that day, from 4:45 to 5:30 p.m. in the same location, attendees can participate in Speed Networking, a high-energy session featuring five focused, 10-minute one-on-one conversations.

Immediately following, the LGBTQ+ Allies Networking Reception will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the South Pacific Ballroom H, Lower Level. This welcoming mixer invites LGBTQ+ professionals and allies to come together in a relaxed and inclusive environment.

Throughout the show, the Build a Better World Non-Profit Partner Corridor, located in the Bayside D Foyer, Level 1, showcases charitable organizations with inspiring missions, from health equity to sustainability, and offers attendees opportunities to engage through volunteering, donations or advocacy.

    Insights, trends & innovation

For attendees focused on market intelligence, product discovery and scientific advancements, several zones and mixers are dedicated to forward-looking insights.

The New Exhibitor Zone on Shoreline, Level 2, is a hub for first-time exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge solutions and ingredients. Nearby, the New Products Zone, located in the Bayside Foyer on Level 1, spotlights the latest innovations in formulation, delivery systems and finished products.

Also in the Bayside Foyer is the Sustainability Zone, which includes the Sustainable Packaging Solutions Showcase. This area highlights brands driving packaging innovation and sustainable material breakthroughs.

At Booth #2431 in Bayside, Level 1, the Non-GMO Project Resource Center invites visitors to connect with Verified brands and sourcing experts to learn about the the Non-GMO Project Verification process and discover the growing market of certified ingredients.

The Make it with Dairy Resource Center at Booth #4431, Bayside, Level 1, hosted by the American Dairy Products Institute (ADPI), provides tools, insights and connections for leveraging dairy to meet performance, nutritional and clean-label requirements.

Presented in partnership with the International Probiotics Association, the IPA Pre-, Pro-, and Post-Biotics Center, located at Booth #6253, Bayside, Level 1, offers updates on the science-based biotics and microbiome innovations, market data and regulatory landscape.

New this year are several trend-focused networking mixers happening in the Networking Pub, Booth #212, Shoreline, Level 2. On Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m., the GLP-1 Networking Mixer invites attendees to discuss metabolic health and product innovation with speakers and brand leaders following the GLP-1 session.

On Thursday, Oct. 30, the Supplement Trends Mixer runs from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m., bringing together those exploring what’s shaping the supplement space.

    From the SupplySide stages

For attendees seeking sharp commentary, regulatory insights and cutting-edge product intelligence, the SupplySide Stage programming offers some of the most potentially dynamic conversations of the week.

From the Innovation Stage (Booth #5014, Bayside D, Level 1), “Unfiltered: Politics, policy and profit in the future of supplements, foods and beverages,” is taking place on Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This data-driven panel will examine how shifting political narratives, public skepticism and anti-establishment messaging, including figures such as Robert F. Kennedy Jr., are influencing consumer trust, sales trends and regulatory policy.

Later that afternoon, the same stage will host “Ingredient Idol 2025: Supplements” from 3:45 to 5:00 p.m.. Now in its fifth year, this fast-paced competition will spotlight breakthrough ingredients launched since January 2024 in three key categories: sexual health, weight management and nutricosmetics.

Finalists will present their innovations to a panel of expert judges and a live audience, offering attendees a firsthand look at the next generation of supplement science.

On the same stage the following day, from 12:45 to 1:15 p.m., “Ugly leftovers, big ideas: Building next-gen ingredients from what’s left behind” will take a deep dive into how supplement industry innovators are transforming processing waste like egg shells or fruit pulp into high-functioning ingredients, offering an exciting look into the intersection between sustainability and creativity.

On Oct. 30, the Innovation Stage will close with “Probiotic comedy show: Laughter is the best supplement” from 4:00 to 4:30 p.m. Led by industry attorney Ivan Wasserman, the fun-filled session makes learning about gut health fun and entertaining.

On the Supplement Solutions Stage (Booth #957, Shoreline, Level 2), regulatory change takes the spotlight with “‘Generally recognized as’ in danger: The future of self-GRAS,” from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29. This session explores the potential disruption of the self-affirmed GRAS pathway, following regulatory scrutiny and statements by Health Secretary Kennedy aimed at closing what he calls the GRAS “loophole.”

Sustainability and material innovation come into focus with “Microplastics under the microscope: Science, sourcing and solutions shaping the future,” running on the same day between 3:30 and 4:00 p.m. This discussion will move past headlines to examine the real-world implications of microplastic contamination, the sourcing and packaging decisions that perpetuate the issue and the industry-wide push for viable solutions.

Closing out the day’s programming is “High stakes, high growth: How smart suppliers align with fast-growing supplement categories and become indispensable partners” from 4:15 to 4:45 p.m.. Attendees will learn how to better connect with high-growth supplement brands, particularly in categories like women’s health and weight management, by positioning themselves as innovation collaborators rather than transactional vendors.

On Thursday, Oct. 30, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the same stage will feature “Don’t snooze on sleep: Innovations in sleep supplementation,” which provides an in-depth look at the current market landscape for sleep supplements as well as key considerations for sleep clinical trials to support substantiated claims.

Capping off the day on the Supplement Solutions Stage will be “Quality control, adulteration and counterfeits: Oh, Amazon!” from 2:30 to 3:00 p.m., which will feature a discussion on Amazon’s quality control (QC) policies and how brands can fortify themselves against bad actors.

    Wellness & recharge

It’s not all business: There are plenty of ways to refresh your mind, body and professional presence throughout the week.

Start your morning with Wellness Yoga, held on both Oct. 29 and 30 from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. in the Mandalay Bay Foyer, Level 2. This all-levels session, led by a certified instructor, offers a centering start to the day and includes a free yoga mat to take home.

When you need a quiet moment, the SupplySide Garden, located at the 6500 Aisle in Bayside, Level 1, offers a tranquil space to relax or connect casually with colleagues.

If you’re ready for a refresh, stop by the Headshot Lounge in the Shark Reef Foyer, Level 1. A professional photographer will be on-site to help capture a polished new image for a LinkedIn profile or the next pitch deck.

    Just for fun

Stop by the Bark Park in the Shoreline Lobby on October 29 and 30 during scheduled playtimes: 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. This crowd favorite lets attendees unwind with adorable, adoptable puppies and may even help them meet their new best friend.

The Tasting Bar, located at Booth #1814, Bayside, Level 1, offers a chance to sample functional foods, beverages and supplements and cast a vote for the best. It’s a great way to experience how ingredients translate into market-ready products.

And finally, don’t miss the What’s Up With Supps Official Closing Party, happening Thursday, Oct. 30, from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. at Swingers Golf Las Vegas. This over-the-top bash combines networking with mini golf, gourmet bites and carnival-style fun, all while supporting HBCU student scholarships through the Williams-Franklin Foundation. Separate registration required.
