    • Yasso launches Spoonables, their famous frozen Greek yogurt in pint form with five flavors.
    • Now available at Target locations nationwide, each serving has 7 grams protein and no more than 160 calories.
    • They are a little high in added sugar, so it’s best to enjoy in moderation as part of a balanced diet.

If you’re a frozen yogurt lover like myself, chances are you have tried and loved Yasso Frozen Greek Yogurt. Once just available in pops, sandwiches and bites, the brand is now expanding—and I couldn’t be more excited about a product launch.

Starting today, Yasso is bringing Spoonables, their famous frozen yogurt in pint form, to the freezer aisle. Available at Target locations nationwide, the new dessert features five of their most popular flavors: mint chocolate chip, chocolate chip cookie dough, fudge brownie, cookies and cream and coffee chocolate chip.

Each of these new frozen dessert options have at least 7 grams of protein per serving, making it a sweet yet satisfying option to replace your nightcap. Plus, they range from 140 to 160 calories per serving, so it’s a lower-calorie choice that can easily fit into a nutritious routine.

I was fortunate enough to try some of these products early, and as a cookies and cream girl, that flavor was a standout favorite. Light, velvety and not stingy on the chunks, I did have to hold myself back from finishing the pint in one sitting. And speaking as a chocolate lover, fudge brownie is also worth the mention.

It’s important to note that each of these flavors are fairly high in added sugar, from 13 to 16 grams per serving. But at EatingWell, we are firm believers that all foods, including creamy and delicious desserts, can be included in a healthy eating pattern. Moderation is key, and a scoop of your favorite frozen yogurt will not deter you from your goals.

What are you waiting for? Stock up on these Yasso pints to have ready in your freezer for your next movie night. Or, if you don’t have the pints in your area yet, try highly-rated recipes like our Lemon-Blueberry Frozen Yogurt Bites or Chocolate-Strawberry Nice Cream.
