A British Palestinian doctor under investigation by the General Medical Council for alleged antisemitic remarks has been arrested by the Metropolitan Police on suspicion of stirring up racial hatred.
Rahmeh Aladwan, 31, a trainee in trauma and orthopaedics, was arrested just two days before she faces a tribunal which could see her suspended from the UK medical register.
In a video Aladwan posted on social media a police officer tells her that she is under arrest for three malicious communications and one offence of inciting racial hatred.
