Walmart’s Thanksgiving Basket Feeds 10 for Under $40

Trick-or-treating plans are set and some stores are breaking out Christmas decorations, but between Halloween costumes and trimming the tree comes Thanksgiving dinner. Getting a turkey and all the fixings on the table can get expensive, but retail chains like Walmart and Aldi are making it easier than ever to feed everyone at your dinner table for less.

Walmart has announced its annual Thanksgiving meal deal: a basket of traditional Turkey Day foods that includes both private label and national brands, and serves 10 people for less than $40. The basket deal also includes Walmart’s lowest price on Butterball turkeys since 2019, at just $0.97 cents per pound. Another great perk of Walmart’s Thanksgiving meal deal? You can grab every ingredient needed with just a single click on Walmart’s website. 

Here’s what’s included in the Walmart 2025 Thanksgiving meal basket:

• A 13.5-pound Butterball turkey
• Kinder’s fried onions
• Campbell’s cream of mushroom soup
• Twin pack of Stove Top turkey stuffing
• 12-count pack of Great Value dinner rolls
• 5-pound bag of russet potatoes
• 12-ounce bag of fresh cranberries
• 2-pound bag of Great Value baby carrots
• Three 15-ounce cans of Great Value corn
• Three 14.5-ounce cans of Great Value green beans
• Three boxes of Great Value Artisan Macaroni and Cheese
• Two packets of Great Value brown gravy mix
• Two 9-inch Great Value pie crusts
• 12-ounce can of Great Value evaporated milk
• 15-ounce can of Great Value pumpkin

What’s more, for the 2025 holiday season, Walmart is offering three additional holiday meal baskets. For around $50, you can order a gluten-free Thanksgiving meal basket. There’s also a $30 Mindful Swaps basket that focuses on high-protein Thanksgiving meal options and a Prime Rib meal basket that costs just over $30 and includes a bottle of red wine.

Through December 25, all of Walmart’s holiday meals can be ordered with a single click online. Customers can pick up their meal basket in-store or have it delivered to their home, and first-time customers can take advantage of free express delivery on their basket.

In a press release about the holiday meal baskets, John Furner, president and CEO of Walmart in the U.S., said, “We know every dollar and minute counts—which is why we are offering a low priced, one-click Thanksgiving Meal Basket featuring iconic brands like Butterball and Stove Top alongside trusted Walmart private brand items.”

Walmart’s Thanksgiving meal box includes just about everything you need to make a turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce, stuffing, green bean casserole, macaroni and cheese, dinner rolls and pumpkin pie. If you’re looking to dress up a few of these basic Thanksgiving dishes, try chef Alex Guarnaschelli’s 15-minute cranberry sauce, which uses spices and citrus to add extra flavor.
