Givaudan highlights that consumer wellness expectations evolve toward performance, resilience, and emotional balance. At this year’s SupplySide Global (SSG) trade show (October 29–30) in Las Vegas, Nevada, US, the company is set to showcase its latest science-backed innovations spanning cognitive performance, stress management, and gut health at booth #3257.
The company says each of its featured solutions are designed to deliver tangible results without compromising on taste or sensory experience.
Moreover, Givaudan will showcase interactive formulations and offer attendees an early look at new research linking natural compounds to measurable benefits in sports and performance nutrition, developed in collaboration with leading academic and training experts.
Among the highlights are three of the company’s signature ingredients — Cereboost, Zensera, and Arrabina-P.
Faster laps, sharper focus
Cereboost is a patented American ginseng extract that enhances focus, energy, and memory — offering what some studies call “same-day results.” The ingredient recently underwent an open-label clinical study conducted with Michigan State University, US, and PitFit, a training facility for professional racecar drivers in Indianapolis, US.
The study examined Cereboost’s cognitive performance effects and reaction time improvement in elite drivers. After two weeks of supplementation, drivers demonstrated a significant three-second reduction in fastest lap times and faster throttle response through corners.
Subjective feedback also showed that 94% of participants felt Cereboost enhanced focus, while 91% reported perceiving its effects faster than other products they had tried previously.
“Working with Michigan State University and PitFit gave us the opportunity to evaluate the real-world benefits of an already clinically studied ingredient and understand how athlete drivers perceived its effect, getting us closer to understanding consumer perception,” says Romain Le Cozannet, the mind and energy category technical leader at Givaudan Taste & Wellbeing.
Science-backed solutions on display
For stress management, Givaudan will feature Zensera, a patent-pending lemon balm extract it says delivers calm and clarity, noting that 70% of adults report feeling overwhelmed. It has also been shown to support cognitive performance under stress, with same-day efficacy.
Meanwhile, as awareness grows around GLP-1 metabolism and the microbiome’s role in overall health, Givaudan spotlights Arrabina-P as a gluten-free prebiotic fiber complex that provides a gentle, low-FODMAP (fermentable oligosaccharides, disaccharides, monosaccharides, and polyols) solution for digestive wellness.
Arrabina-P is sustainably sourced, Upcycled Certified, it can be easily incorporated into functional foods, beverages, and nutraceuticals.
At the trade show, Givaudan says its innovations will demonstrate how brands can create science-backed products that offer sensorial experiences for consumers. The company’s researchers and formulation experts will be on site throughout the event to present its innovations for performance and well-being.
