    • Aldi’s Casa Mamita Soft Taco Dinner Kits are recalled in 28 states and D.C. for undeclared milk.
    • Crunchy Taco Dinner Kits sold at Martin’s and Giant are also recalled for the same allergen issue.
    • No illnesses reported, but those with affected products should return them for a refund.

There’s an active recall on a popular Aldi product sold at the grocery chain in 28 states and regions, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This is due to an undeclared allergen.

The product affected is the Casa Mamita Soft Taco Dinner Kit, packaged in a blue and yellow box with UPC 4099100318715, lot code 25259 and best-by date “MAR 15 26.” The following states and district are impacted by this recall: Alabama, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont, Wisconsin and West Virginia.

In addition, a Crunchy Taco Dinner Kit sold at Martin’s and Giant grocery stores in the affected states are being recalled. These kits are packaged in a purple box with UPC 68826757516, lot code 25257 and best-by date “MAR 13 26.”

This recall was announced due to undeclared milk in the recalled products. While no illnesses have been connected to this recall, those with daily allergies may experience an allergic reaction, such as anaphylaxis, when consuming one of the affected foods. Symptoms may include hives, difficulty breathing or speaking, dizziness, nausea, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea and cardiac arrest.

If you are showing signs of a severe allergic reaction, call 911 immediately. Teasdale Foods, Inc. is urging consumers to return any recalled products to your place of purchase for a refund. For questions about this recall, contact the company by emailing teasdalecomplaints@teasdalefoods.com.
