A doctor sued by Texas state for providing gender affirming care to minors has handed in her licence and moved out of state.
Texas’s attorney general, Ken Paxton, filed a lawsuit against May Lau in October 2024 for providing at least 21 adolescents with the hormone testosterone. But Paxton said that despite Lau’s actions he was not dropping the case against her.1
