From targeted formulations that support active lifestyles to solutions that address cognitive health and metabolic balance, these companies are shaping the future of how vitamins can empower consumers to feel and perform at their best.

Innova Market Insights’ data suggest an 11% average annual growth in vitamin and mineral supplement launches from July 2020 to June 2025, with products primarily targeting energy and immunity, and claims around insomnia and blood pressure also saw rapid growth during this period.

Future outlooks
D’Hoore points out that natural well-being continues to gain momentum, fueled by consumer demand for clean label products and rising concerns over ultra-processed foods. For vitality-boosting vitamins, he expects demand to grow for nature-derived ingredients with strong, clean credentials that are supported by sustainable, chemical-free processing methods, which align with consumers’ evolving wellness and environmental priorities.

“That’s one of the reasons why multifunctional solutions are taking off,” Cole reveals. “People don’t want to take six different supplements; they want smart ‘all-in-one’ products that combine popular, complementary ingredients.”
“We’re seeing this demand firsthand with our consumer research on our Vital Trio concept. In our recent survey across North America and Europe, 74% of respondents said Vital Trio addresses unmet needs by offering a convenient way to promote holistic well-being. What’s more, over half said they’d be willing to pay a premium for its high-quality ingredients.”
Focus on vitamins
According to Cole, the choice of bioactive forms is crucial for effectiveness, as the body can only utilize nutrients in active states. Unlike folic acid, a synthetic and inactive form of vitamin B9 requiring conversion, she notes that Kappa Bioscience’s L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate (L-5-MTHF) is immediately usable.
She further states that Optifolin+, a choline-enriched L-5-MTHF, delivers this active form directly, supporting multiple metabolic processes and health benefits.
“For vitamin K2, bioactivity depends on its molecular shape, and, in nature, vitamin K2 as MK-7 features seven double chemical bonds, aligned in a linear configuration called ‘all-trans,’” Cole emphasizes. “This linear molecule acts like a key, unlocking the activity of K-dependent proteins to deliver the vitamin’s benefits for bone and heart health.”
